Storyline

Edit Eccentric toymaker Kenneth Zevo (Donald O Connor) last wish is that his brother, Leland (Sir Michael Gambon), takes over the running of the business. Leland is out of touch with toymaking and reality too. The business should really have been given to his nephew, Leslie (Robin Williams), who was much more like Kenneth. Patrick Zevo : I can't even eat. The food keeps touching. I like military plates, I'm a military man, I want a military meal. I want my string beans to be quarantined! I like a little fortress around my mashed potatoes so the meatloaf doesn't invade my mashed potatoes and cause mixing in my plate! I HATE IT when food touches! I'm a military man, you understand that? And don't let your food touch either, please?

Crazy credits During the credits, we see a dreamlike sequence of the elephant statue from Kenneth s grave flying over the hills. Alternate versions The1993 UK VHS versions omit a sexual reference of around 5 seconds to obtain a PG rating. Review Top review A Great Anti-Millitary Movie At base this is a fable about military survival. No enemies left. The military will be cut. To save itself the military invent an enemy. Simplistic? The movie is a good analysis about social control. Enjoyable with a message about power. I recommend it. helpful 6 5 basildoneye Oct 19, 2003
